The small icecream maker I have is from Donvier and it
holds just 2 cups of liquid. You freeze it in the
freezer and then add the liquid and give it a few
turns every few minutes until it is done. Now for the
bad news, I do not believe they still make them this
small. I got this one at the local charity shop. I
had never even been opened! I don't however see why
you couldn't make a haf batch in a larger maker
though. Chestnut icecream sounds lovely. I just love
chestnuts.
