Hello to my Secret Pal,

The goodies arrived safely on Monday, and were waiting for me when I reached
home - I haven't been able to get near the computer since, so I do hope the
delay in replying isn't inconvenient!

However - the photograph is delightful - so much so that I have lost it
already! My grandson keeps surreptitiously moving some of his treasures
into *his* bedroom here, and the photograph (did you take it yourself - it
really is lovely) is now adorning the wall, in a frame I'd bought for a piece
of lace. Ah well .....

I am very impressed with the Tasmaninan Lace Guild bookplates - I am just
about getting to grips with 'ordinary' labels for the Christmas cards etc, so
am very impressed to have these. A good excuse to order even more books, I
am sure.

The sachet smells lovely, and reminds me of my last most enjoyable temping job
with Trinity House, the company which looks after the lighthouses and light
ships for England, and Wales (Scotland and Ireland have their own
organisations), so the picture on the front is greatly appreciated too.

The spangles are most welcome - are they a native wood? I shall have to put
them on very special bobbins. And talking of bobbins, the Christmas bobbin
is delightful I love the very slender bobbins, and the snowman is gorgeaous.
The spoangles on it match perfectly too, so I am very pleased indeed.

Thank you once again, and I do hope you are receiving such lovely gifts.
