I admit I'm not sure what the advantages of having a g-mail account are (my personal bottleneck is at the ISP, and everything has to go through *that*) but, when a lacemaking friend asks a favour, especially one which might prove to be beneficial to many... :)

I wonder if I could use you as a go-between for me and the chat-list again. It involves g-mail accounts (google mail). They’re enormous mailboxes – forgotten just how big, but BIG. And they’re free. One catch – it’s by invitation only. I have 100 or so invitations at my disposal, and I was wondering if anyone on chat was wanting a g-mail account. Could you ask them for me, and ask them to send a request for an invitation to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] The invitation includes more info.
I wrote to the moderator about this, and received no reply, so I assume it is legit to post the offer.
