from [EMAIL PROTECTED] This makes two! The first time was last year when my son casually mentioned that there was an alligator resting at the lake near his campus. Not long after that, he needed work done on his car, and I had to take him to class and go drop off his car. Having forgotten all about the gator, I was surprised when he pointed it out to me. I only saw it once more after that. They probably relocated him. He was small and was causing quite a traffic problem as other people started noticing him and slowing down as they drove by. The lake he was staying at is on a 4 lane highway!! You would think that I would be ready for it to happen again, but yesterday really caught me off guard. My husband and I were on our way to church and this time the gator was on our own street!! About a mile from our house!! And it wasn't small. This gator was 9 feet long!! When we saw it, the police had already spotted it and put in a call for help; for someone to come and take it away. I think we'll pass on having any outdoor pets for awhile.
