I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Our labrador is getting on in
years - he'll be 11 next week and is a bit arthritic now, but when the
time comes I know Terry will be heartbroken. That's why we've recently
got a new puppy.

Most of the puppy's little accidents indoors have been cleaned up with
disinfectant and carpet shampoo, but I've also got through a couple of
bottles of Febreeze. I'd suggest using whatever is appropriate for the
car seat upholstery and then if possible leave the car outside with
windows/doors open on a dry but breezy day. Fresh air has always been
the best cure for nasty smells.

cover is fixed so I cannot remove it. Have already sponged it with
water and disinfectant, but need to do more.
