I used this mixture with a soft cloth when I put a hot teapot down on DH's
grandmother's oak table. Made a lovely white ring. I knew about the wire
wool, but decided to only use that as a last resort. It worked a treat with
a soft cloth and elbow-grease. She never knew what I'd done.
