i tried to use the string method on my continental bobbins last night, and got
no where. i had to rig up a hanger to twist my bobbins with. i know that
method must be for midland bobbins. so far, attatching my bobbins to the tip
of a long think dowel or piece of metal, works the best. if you are going to
use a piece of wire cut from a wire hanger, curl the tips of each ending, wrap
it in black tape before you start to spin. that's what i had to do to get it
to spin correctly. i used guaze tape.

i'm now spinning from one bobbin to another to get my pairs and i am going
crazy. i was up at least 3 hours last night winding. i'm sitting here feeling
really sorry right now for anyone winding for a project with 100 or more
bobbins. that alone is a years worth of work for me. this is the most dredged
job that i have come across yet. i'm still not done yet. 24 more to go! ohhhh!
