That has recently happened here (prior to Katrina, but worse since) with our
prices going up to about $1.27.8. Now the petrol looks very cheap because
some garages are just showing the 27.8 but I don't think they'd let you buy
it for that even though it is what they are advertising - VBG.
(I know Jean, it is quite cheap compared to yours - the comparison they were
making last week when ours was about $1.09 - yours was $1.79)
