My favourite made-up word is "cretinaceous", coined by my vet about a particularly loathesome, pompous, ignorant horse owner and her equally loasesome horse (the only horse I 've ever found that I didn't like). Th vet said that she'd had to visit this "cretinaceous woman and her cretinacous horse".

Yes I know "cretin" is a noun for a mentally retarded, deformed person usually as a result of a thyoid deficiency, but it's also used for a stupid person. The correct adjective is "cretinous", but the vet didn't think that went far enough in describing this woman and lengthened it to "cretinaceous" which added to the descriptiveness of it as it applied to this woman.
