About the helping, fore Barbara, it mens to all of you who has a danish pattern

First I had to find out what pattern it was, Denmarks big heart, famous lace here in Dk. I was pusseld about Hakpar, and with help from a fellow lacer and Karens book on Tonderlace, I found out, at the bottom of a fan/shell/scallop, before you carry on to the next f/s/s, there in the bottom, you can't make a picot, in your case the workers are going true 4 pair of then making 2 twist around the pin, and back true the 4 pair, so the name hakpar is realy a 2bottom"pair, fore the picot's you use the pairs that comes from the f/s/s, It is just a name, that at the bottom, no special stich, hope that is helpful, just return if any problems. Ore if you would like to know other things about Tonder lace, I have tons of Tonder patterns. I can tell you that when Quin Margrethe was married, she wore30 meters of Denmarks great heart on ther weil, it is said that it takes a very skilled lacer about 300 hours to lace one meter, How much are you going do need?:-)
