DH had the same problem of the wizard disappearing after he plugged in a
multi-card-type card reader as he has three cameras, each with different
cards. The wizard was there OK with the previous reader which could ony read
two types of card. He contacted the maker to ask how to go through setting
up the wizard again, but it just wouldn't "take" (process below). They said
they couldn't help further and to contact Microsoft. He didn't bother and
now downloads through "My computer".
The process for setting up the wizard is to plug the camera/reader in, then
open my computer. Right click on the drive letter for the camera/reader and
then on 'Properties', then the 'Autoplay' tab to enable you to choose what
you want it to do. With DH is kept reverting to 'Music files', which, of
course it wasn't, even thoug he kept choosing 'Pictures' and clicking Apply.
