This message is for people in the Radio Solent area.
For those who are fans of Nick Girdler, as you know he was axed from Radio
Solent a couple of weeks ago. What's really insulting is that Solent
management think that people believe the official line that he left of his
own accord. Can't abide those who think you're stupid and will believe
anything they say.
A Yahoo group has been set up with non-restricted membership.

I was a real fan because he was definitely un-PC, called a spade a spade,
didn't suffer fools, was funny and entertaining, was knowledgeable in all
sorts of areas, deflated the pompous, as well as never charging for personal
appearances for the selected causes he supported (unlike most so-called
celebs), said he was well-looked after by society and therefore gave 21 days
of his time for free back to it, was a school governor and still is
magistrate. Really brightened the mornings with his totally interactive show
for those who wanted to be part of it.
He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, and something went wrong so he's no longer
with the BBC.
