Hi, For those list members who are knowledgeable about Vancouver Island (and I know that there are quite a few of you :-) ), I have a question for you. I would like to stay somewhere near the north of the island (I've already spent a couple of months working at Comox so have seen that bit!) and I am looking for recommendations on where to stay. Ideally, I would like it to be a cabin or similar rather than a hotel or B&B as I am very independent! I am looking to 'escape from it all' for a few days so would also prefer to be away from the centre of any 'town' (though having somewhere relatively close would probably be good). I have a Subaru Forester so access via logging roads would not be an issue if that were required. So, does anyone have any recommendations? Please email me if you do ...
