Right click on the name of the attachment in the attachment window at the top
of the email. Left slick on save as, and save it somewhere where you'll know
where to find it. Find the folder with the saved attachment in it and open
that file in a photo program, or, if you haven't got a photo program, insert
it as a picture into Word.

I apologise in advance for asking something I know has been discussed
before, but I did not save the reply, as I did not have the problem then,
and now I do I can't find it in the Archives!

When someone sends me an attachment, it used to come up as a paperclip on
the message, which I could then click on and have the choice of whether to
open it or save it. Now, I am not sure if I have inadvertently changed a
setting or something, but they always come up under the message itself, but
really HUGE, so I can only see a bit of it at a time. Someone said to me it
should be opened in a photo program, but I don't know how to do that from an
email message, when it is there already! I have tried pasting it into Word
and also tried saving it to open later, but nothing seems to work. I would
be so grateful for any help anyone can give me.

  Thank you in advance.
