your Christmas:
The only thing I have with a hook like that is a pair of stainless scissors
that I acquired when the hospital I was working at was disposing of sample
tools - they were "bowel and post mortem scissors"! How they were used, I
can only imagine (or rather I'd prefer not to imagine.) The hadn't been
used, I hasten to add.
DH ground off the hook, and now I have a very sturdy and sharp pair of
stainless steel scissors.
This ebay item looks rather too genteel to have any sinister use.
