Wonderful! I hope this family gathering "comes through" for you. My own
son is almost 30, but he's still my little boy (even though now a hug
from him is likely to leave my cheek scratched, if I don't time it well
<g>) and getting together is always a treat. He lives on the West Coast
-- a continent's width away, so it doesn't happen often. He's here now
though, for whole 10 days (plus fragments) and after the first 24hr,
we've falllen into the old routines. I cook and bake all his favorite
childhood/Polish "stuff" and he drags me out for a 2-mile brisk walk
every day (helps my back a lot but, by myself, I usually don't have
enough motivation and prefer to spend that time reading or making
lace), during which time we settle the fate of the world :) My husband
just beams and hugs whoever's handy... And, in a couple of days, we'll
have a flying, 2-day visit from Danek's half-brother -- my oldest
stepson -- and his wife.
A very happy holiday season for us.
Best wishes for an equally happy one for everyone here,
