I remember going into hospital on 30th November 1965, and, apart from the fact that I hadn't realised that time had passed, when I came out on 10th December, I was surprised that all the shops had their Christmas window dressings in place - they hadn't on 30th November - now they start at the beginning of September! I'm definitely showing my age and getting grumpier with it.
