That's for sure! In the US, I'm about average height for a woman, but in the Netherlands I felt like I was looking at everyone's belt buckles. But my husband had it worse -- once I remember him coming out of a bathroom totally flustered, as the height of the urinal in it was too high! I read somewhere that the Dutch had the tallest average height in the world. Now I can't find where I read that, but I believe it.
