I know that there are quite a few of you who use eBay and buy from eBayUK
listers - myself included.
However, are you aware that in their wisdom, eBay are now excluding eBayUK
listings from general eBay.com searches? BUT eBay.com items are being shown
on UK searches!
I didn't know this until last weekend when I happened on a thread in the UK
eBay Forums - and it's hitting UK listers hard, very hard. I'm OK as it's
not
my main source of income - it pays for our holidays :), but even I have
noticed
the lack of overseas interest in my listings.
It's the fact that eBay didn't publicise this change that has got people's
backs up most - even major sellers had no idea why their sales had dropped
by over 60%+ in less than 3 months, as not everyone reads the eBay Boards
[I don't as a rule].
SO, from now on, when you do an eBay.com search, please tick "world wide"
down on the left-hand side if you want to see what's available from UK-based
[and other non-U.S.] listers :) OR log onto eBay.co.uk and search there
instead :)
If anyone wants the relevant Forum links, please email me privately, as it's
not just the eBay Forums that are running "discussions" about this.
