Got the following from my "cousin" (my husband's second cousin, once
removed. Or something like that <g>)
If you'd like to spend a few minutes delving into a little nostalgia,
a bit of history, and some tunes of the time...
I hardly recognized anything it mentioned -- cars, films, etc -- no
nostalgia there. But... I recognized *every tune but one* (the big
band) from my own teens! Considering that I grew up in a commie
country, where everything from the West (and *especially* from US) was,
automatically, condemned as bad, bad, BAD... Not half bad, eh? <g> As
an old Polish song used to go: "a song knows no bordes or barriers".

A note of caution: it took me 3 or 4 tries to get to see it. I get on
the 'puter fairly late in the evening and I kept getting "sorry, I
exceeded my bandwidth today; try again tomorrow". And I wasn't aboout
to forward something unchecked, even though it was coming from a
respectable and respected source. But now that I've seen it, I can
recommend it. Not that I agree with every bit of the (right-wing,
mostly) sentiment therein. It's the music that took me back :)
