I am sorry to hear that Dora is lonely. Like her I am spending Christmas Day in my own home and I live alone but I have been out to a lovely, cheerful service and had an invigorating walk in some weak sunshine but it was sunshine as the rain passed over us far faster than forecast). I have just finished eating my turkey (turkey breasts in tinfoil baking cases are a boon and blessing) and I am sipping the last of my one person bottle of champaigne. I have received some lovely presents and am counting my blessings and I was very pleased to find some Arachne mail when I sent email to America,
