It looks to me as if it is machine made rather than hand made... there
are marks in the pattern which are repeated!! However, I may be
wrong, being new at this game...

This looks to me like the corner off something, rather
than a collar. Usually lace made for a collar has the
two front sections matching. This looks like an
edging that has been neatly trimmed between repeats.
What do you think?
