Occasionally I catch part of the TV quiz "weakest link, and some of the
answers, which are given as reactions rather than being thought out, are
quite funny.
One which sticks in my mind and still makes me laugh was:
Question: "Which synthetic stone is often used in jewellery as an imitation
diamond? A cubic .....?"
Answer "Rube"
and last night:
Question: "Which UK TV detective series had the characters Bodie and Doyle?"
Answer: "The Confessionals."
