Not only does it make a mockery of things, but as you get older your life
seems to go faster. Mine's going quite fast enough without shops displaying
stuff to make it even faster. Now the "back-to-school" stuff goes on display
before the children have even started the long summer break, Easter starts
just after Christmas, and Christmas displays go up on 1st September, just as
the children go back to school after summer!!!.
Oh for the days as a child when a week went on forever!
