Hi all
This is lace related in a manner of speaking - I'm desperately trying to get my presentation prepared for a Lace Day in September when I launch my book on Suffolk Lace and it is becoming very stressful.

Does anyone have experience of using a digital projector specifically in relation to digital slide presentation using power point? I've just purchased a projector and it is not going smoothly, but I won't go into the whole saga here.

My problem is that the image on my PC screen is correctly in proportion ie the bulbous end of a bobbin (oval in shape) is just that but when projected the whole bobbin becomes rather squat and the bulbous end far more round than oval. Not very satisfactory. I have tried the different format options on the projector but they don't correct this.

It was also suggested to me by the retailer that I change the screen resolution on my PC, I tried this the images on my PC were all out of proportion, it affected every programme and the image was still not projected in correct proportion. Can anyone offer any suggestions. Please e.mail me direct.

many thanks
Nicky in Suffolk
