Greetings friends!
I got a letter from my 8-year-old grandson today, posted from his second
grade classroom! They are studying maps now, and have made pictures of
themselves and sent them out to people they know. They are asking that
we send the picture back with a postcard from the place we live.
They are going to look at maps and find all of these places! I know the
children will have a grand time, exploring the maps and finding out
where their pictures have been!
I thought some of you might like to send postcards too! The children
would be thrilled to get letters from foreign countries!! So, if any of
you has the time or inclination to do this, write to me privately, and
I'll send you the information you need - along with one of his pictures!!
