Thank you, Marion, Janice and Daphne for reminding me where to send the
scanned images.
I really enjoyed making a piece of lace with a purpose - for someone rather
than just making it. I was a bit worried as so many of you are such
experienced lace makers and I'm such a beginner, but I'm pleased with the
result (only 2 tiny faults, I think, where I missed an edge pin). The
piece is greatly enhanced by my daughter's transformation of it into a
beautiful card, something she enjoyed too - it was lovely to create
something together using our combined talents. I'm so looking forward to
receiving my card.
