Some get addicted to these devices.  When looking up addresses of business
places, they give the latitude and longitude before the actual address and
driving directions.  

My son won't even take simple oral directions from me for within the city
(though I am good at it via feedback), preferring his adored, portable GPS for
his assorted vehicles.  

My young daughter asks him how "Tanya" is and how they are getting along, to
which he answers, "Huh?"  Then I explain she has named his GPS, since he seems
to have such a close interpersonal relationship with "her" and is so attached.
