That reminds me of correspondence I had with British Gas after my MIL died. The gas and electric on her bungalow was put into my name whilst we got everything sorted out (my name because it's me that always does the paperwork stuff).
I'm B J Paternoster and she was J Paternoster, and after the third letter addressed to Mrs J Paternoster was sent to my address I replied along the lines of; Thank you for your recent letter addressed to my late mother-in-law thanking her for her recent correspondence. In the unlikely event that she has really contacted you from the grave would you please send your reply to her current address at the churchyard ....
