And if memory serves me right, the Wunderland guys failed and James succeeded - eventually.

I really enjoyed what James May did - build a full size airfix model of a Spitfire plane, bridge from Meccano, house from giant Lego bricks, reconstructing the Brooklands motor racing track in Scalextric in spite of obstacles such as buildings now occupying parts of it. Were there any more?

He also did a series on his sister's favourite toys and had a "man lab" (included building a customised concrete kitchen work surface, a bar and a toy train method of delivering a fresh toilet roll from the kitchen to the toilet) which was aimed at men, but which I watched religiously.

Makes a change from him racing around in fast cars.
