Actually all old churches and cathedrals in the UK were Catholic in pre Reformation days - and there are hundreds of them around. Basically (I think) Anglican and the majority of Church of Scotland (Presbyterian)churches were originally Catholic. The only ones you can assume weren't are those built post Reformation. Certainly the village Church of Scotland building I was christened in dates back to the 13th century (with bits of 11th century) and is known to have been Roman Catholic and was, in fact, a Collegiate church.
