There's been a slow stream of massages on Lace but I don't remember much on
Chat for a while.

I haven't read too closely because I've been elsewhere off
and on.  Spent a weekend at the beach with my brother and SIL.  They were
guest hosts at a lighthouse for a month.  It's an inactive lighthouse and has
become a museum.

The next week I spent 4 days, again at the beach, at a
Needlework Camp (church).  I spent the time working on a couple quilts, and
making lace during the quiet times when I couldn't run the sewing machine.
This week is a bit busy.  Tomorrow is monthly lace meeting in Portland.
Friday is an all day lace class on Rosaline.  Saturday is our annual Lace
Day.  Sunday is supposed to be the second day of the lace class but I'll have
to miss it.  My family is having a 70th anniversary celebration and I
promised to go.

Monday is my weekly Crafters meeting at church, all
morning.  I think I actually have 4 days without a meeting!!!!

I'm working
on a tablecloth, conference decorations, Chirstmas exchange, and promised to
make a quilt for regional conference raffle.  I'm just doing the base quilt,
and the rest of the people have to make the lace that will go on it.  (As if
I needed to take on another project!!)

Tonight I should be sorting out
the things I need tomorrow, and also making a bag for Friday, and have started
a box for Saturday.  I know I'll forget something!!

Doc Martin is on TV so I
think I'll go watch it, and make three lists to help me remember all the stuff
I'm supposed to do/take for the next 4 days.

We have had trememdous storms
(leftovers from a typhoon in Japan) so I'm happy it will be rainless for 3
days.  I'm thankful that includes Lace Day since rain keeps some people from
coming.

Have a great week,
Alice in Oregon

Have there really been no
messages since 22
September? It doesn't seem likely but there are none in my
inbox and none in
the postini spam filter either!
