Bev emailed with much the same advice but it didn't work.  This time, on
aol, it did!!  Thank you very much to all who replied.  I appreciated it very
much.  I have a sinus and chest infection and the weather is absolutely fowl
and so I didn't want to take my pc to the shop.

Oh,
I hate it when I do something and Firefox goes full screen.  I just 
found the
button to make mine go full screen.  In that mode I found if I 
moved the
mouse up to the very top of the screen, the buttons appeared 
for me.   I
could then click the one in the upper right to make it 
smaller again. ( one
to the left of the red "x")
