The drought in the southeast of Queensland this summer is severe. We are way
below the usual water level. Farm ponds have dried up. Wells are
pumping muddy water. The woods crunch when you walk through them.

Lawns are getting cut only about once every six weeks.
But the following really tells it all:
QLD is so dry that
the Baptists have started sprinkling.
the Methodists are using a wet wash cloth.
the Presbyterians are giving rain checks
and the Catholics are trying to turn wine back into water.


 Now that's DRY!
