If you *really* want to burn up calories, take up bike
racing -- those guys have to have their food pre-chewed in
order to get down enough fuel. I once saw a long-distance
rider point at a dent in his leg where he'd burned away fat
on a single ride.
In cycling, moderate speeds are best for losing weight. The
faster you ride, the more calories you burn, but less and
less of the fuel is fat and more and more of it is sugar.
