I am trying to find any patterns for bobbin lace trims or insertion for church use (Christian motifs). [...}
I prefer torchon or Bucks but will be glad to look at other types of lace.
Most patterns that I've seen have been scattered -- a pattern here, a pattern there, some of which had been designed for a particular church and/or particular use.
Eeva-Lisa Kortelahti, however, has 6 edgings (5 have crosses, one has candles) as well as a few "independent elements" in the "altar laces" section of her "Nyplattya Pitsia" ("Bobbin Lace") book. All are very nice, and while none is strictly Torchon (or Bucks), knowledge of Torchon techniques should suffice, given the excellent diagrams (no verbal instructions, beyond the thread and number of pairs used)
