I am thinking I would like to go to Belgium and possibly the Netherlands on a self-designed lace tour. Has anyone had any experience writing ahead to museums in order to have special viewings? I would be interested to hear of any good lace experiences that people have had. (I would be traveling with my husband, so taking a class is probably out.)
