Dear Clay & other Binche Spiders

I was pleased to see that you are awaiting the publishing of the pattern
for Beryl's Lace. I was with Beryl at The Convent in Brugge when she took
that piece off the pillow. It was quite something to see!

I haven't seen Beryl since Oidfa in Nottingham last year when she was
telling me about the publishing of the pattern. In response to your
posting I have just called her to see what the situation is.

She tells me it will definitely be published and she is delighted to hear
of your interest. She says there is a lot of work involved as there are,
in fact, seven patterns to be included in the publication and there is a
lot of work to get all the drawings and coloured charts ready and corrected
before printing.

Beryl will be funding the publication herself and it will be sold with all
proceeds in aid of Cancer Research/Relief - sorry I can't remember which
one she said!

Beryl said don't worry, it will be published and when it is you won't miss
it. It will certainly be mentioned in 'Lace'.

Hope this helps and you will be able to find something to keep you busy in
the meantime!

Best wishes.
