I borrowed the Springett video on Bruges lace from our local group when I was about to have a go at it. I watched the video and thought "Huh! Nothing spectacular there!" Then I started making a piece and very quickly put the video on again to find reference to the bit I was trying to do and not managing. After I'd found several points where I needed to look at the video, I decided that I'd better watch it all again and this time take careful note of what was being demonstrated. I actually kept stopping the video and writing down notes. Then I went through it again, checking my notes. I still needed to look at parts of it again a least a couple more times.
If the others are similar, they're certainly worthwhile, especially if you haven't got a teacher or friend who can help you out. Jean in Poole - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED]
