Also, during my trip,I found the book 'Bobbin Lace from Steckborn' published by VSS/FDS, the swiss lacemaker association. The book speaks about the history of lacemaking in that area, a part is of torchon type with a special 'little mosquito' design and another part is lace made of horsehair and straw. The thirs part consists of 35 reconstructed lace patterns from the museum, mainly with corners.
At Italia Invita, I also bought Punto Venezia , book on which Tamara gave a very good review.
