Dear All, here is the update regarding Suzanne Thompson's book. Thanks for all your suggestions.
I've tried various second hand book sellers with no success. The book is apparently not circulating on the second hand market. Opinion is that it was a very small print run. I also suspect that everyone who purchased it finds it so useful they can't bear to part with it. I know how I feel about parting with the library copy I've borrowed before I've obtained my own copy - so it looks like I'll be renewing it for many months to come. The constant borrowing should hopefully assist the book staying available in the local library for a few more years. I just hope that nobody else reserves it in the meantime.
