Helena Demeyer-Fransens described her teacher as working in a similar manner, one hand working the bobbins and the other placing the pins. Helena works many laces but was teaching our Paris class at IOLI last week and her teacher worked Paris lace as well. I can't remember what type of pillow the teacher was working on, but I sort of think it might have been flat and not a bolster. Others who were in the class may remember more of this story than I do and might contribute their own recollections if we are lucky.
BTW, this was a wonderful class!! Anyone who has the opportunity to study with Helena should jump right on it! 8^) Marcie >>>>>>>"She used only her left hand to move the bobbins, working the stitch ...snip... Meanwhile her right hand moved the pins<<<<< - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
