I thought that if i was not going to use a pricking again I would stick it onto some card, cover it with blue film and off I would go.
3" of bent pins later ..... When it comes down to it I've found that good card and pricking first works best - however that's not to put down anyone who prefers the other method. The number of times that I've missed a hole when pricking or using the glue and go method worries me because when you prick first you see the missing holes when you draw in the fans etc. When you do the glue and go method you only find out it was wrong when you are a few inches later and the bobbins are in the wrong place - mind you, if you are more accurate then me then it probably doesn't matter. My biggest problem with the glue and go method is that really good glue affects the photocopy, when you stick it to the card and if you don't stick it it bubbles up. I use pritt but I've found that this lifts after about 6 years and makes the pricking useless.
