It's been a looong time since I posted and rather a while since I actually read the lace digests. Life took a croooked turn two years ago, but it seems we took the right fork in the road, so to speak. LOL. Wound up buying a new house and now we have settled in and I've unpacked one of the many pillows and almost finished a large motif last night that's been on the pillow for a year! LOL. Feels good to be doing lacing again. Now if I can just get my sewing and craft room in shape! LOL.
Anyway, I guess I've been a subscriber for a while, even though I dropped out of sight. Now I have to decide what kind of lace to try and learn next, since I've really reached the end of Torchon. (It's no longer a challenge--but will come in handy for quick gifts when I need them, like napking rings! LOL) Which means I need to unpack the lace books! LOL. I collected all kinds of lace books over the years, saying "oh, I'll learn it someday" so now I have to figure out which one I do want to try. LOL. Plus I have to rejoin the IOLI and the Lace Guild--I really am in the mood to get into my lacing. So saying hello to all the names I recognize in my recent digests and saying, I'm back! hehe. I took a day off from work to do more unpacking, so I think I'll have to steal a half hour this afternoon to actually finish that darned motif.
