Me, I rub bees wax all over my photocopy of the pricking, pin it to a cork tile (that
is stuck onto a piece of plywood) and then prick away.

Regards

Liz

Gidday Julie,

<<something (maybe a piece of styrofoam) to prick into rather than the
actual
<<pillow. Is that what others do? Unless you're pricking as you go along
and

I use an A4 sized self-healing cutting mat, the kind with measurements on
used by quilters/patchworkers. You can get them in various sizes from good
patchwork supply shops. I've seen others use polystyrene pieces, or a block
of wood with layers of felt tacked onto it.

Also if you get 6 pieces of waxed paper, and iron each one to the next, with
the final one the other way around so that all the wax is on the inside, use
this as a layer between your pricking and the mat underneath - the pin going
through the wax really helps to make it slide through more easily - same
principle as running a baby nappy pin through your hair!
