As far as I am aware Miss Anne Buck is alive (and I hope well), she wrote the book that accompanied the pricking but did not adapt it, that was done by Mrs Patricia Bury. 'Miss Buck is well known for her work in the fields of English costume and lace. As a young assistant at Luton Museum she took private lessons with Miss Channer'.
