Spiders - this has made me think - how many of you who design use computer

I think I missed this email but I can answer that I use Lace 2000. Most of my designs are pictorial in nature(tape or milanese), and so I tend to draw a sketch of what I want to make, scan it into the program and then use the different tools to draw over the sketch and convert the lines into dots. It does make designing easier for someone who is terrible at drawing. I am sure that the publications I submit to are happier to have a nice dotted pricking than the thick lines I use to send in with my designs. I must say though that I have not made anything too complicated with the torchon or bucks grids but I am getting a dab hand at copying and pasting parts of my designs when I need a mirror image for the other half. Making the pricking is certainly quicker these days. I have done some prickings in less than 10 minutes once satisfied with the design. One happy customer.
