Hello Spiders! Some of you may be wondering where our friend Tamara has been keeping herself lately... and I'm happy to tell you that she is alive and well. She called about an hour ago to let me know that her computer keyboard was less than gracious when she spilled a cup of tea on it the other day: in fact, it died. This is mystifying since in the past it has happily survived being sloshed with bourbon or wine. But a nice cup of tea took it out. She is suffering tremendously with the situation: she can read our postings and of course has her usual ideas and opinions, but since only her mouse works, she is unable to respond. Can you think of anything worse!!?? A new keyboard is on its way, but it's hard to say when it will arrive.
So until it does, we'll have to limp along without her input. Meanwhile, to all of you who have written to her privately - you'll get a response eventually! DH and I have been home for about a week after our exquisite ten-day adventure in Alaska! This week has passed even quicker than our vacation did - too many irons in the fire! But the past weekend was wonderful, since Louise Colgan came to do a workshop for our Guild in Milanese Lace. Everyone had a wonderful learning weekend with Louise, and we're all tired but happy. Clay Clay Blackwell in Lynchburg, VA, where we dodged the bullet from Hurricane Isabela much better than most areas to the east of us. For us, it was just another summer storm. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
