Dear Adele,

The responses from owners of Mrs. Lowes' book "Chats on Old Lace &
Needlework" came from Canada, U.K. and USA. My copy, published in 1908 in New York by
Frederick A. Stokes Company, is rippled. It was taken to Tess to see if it had
the same problem as a book she had already tried to scan. It did. In all
other respects it is in very good conditon.

It will be interesting to see the "publishing date" of the Canadian edition
(that is why I've given you the date of my copy). Other owners can compare
with their editions - which is why I've posted to the list.
