Among the workshops there is one named "3-pair Flanders" with Rosita
D'Ercoli. Can anyone tell us what this is?
Does anyone know of pictures on the net or of books with this kind of lace?

I think this is a direct translation of Punto di Fiandra, which is Italian. Fiandra is the Italian word for Flanders, and seems to me to apply to various things made of linen. (If you search on the Internet for "fiandra" you will get all kinds of websites trying to sell you bedsheets).

Punto di Fiandra is a 3-pair technique, making basically a fat braid with no footside, with picot decoration. As a technique, it is not at all related to what we call Flanders lace.

By the way there is an article on Punto Fiandra in the most recent edition of the Canadian Lacemaker Gazette.
